Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression for Back Pain

Non-surgical spinal decompression is extremely effective for back and neck pain caused from herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, facet syndrome, sciatica, stenosis, whiplash, loss of curve, failed spinal surgeries, failed injection therapy, and chronic disc pain. Spinal decompression is an FDA cleared therapy that dramatically improves patient outcomes. Pinecone Physio utilizes the Hill Decompression Table, one of the most sophisticated and effective decompression therapy tables, with unmatched technology. There are five components in the program at Pinecone Physio. Each of these components are included in each non-surgical spinal decompression appointment, which usually last one hour:

• Pre-Treatment Therapy: This may consist of functional dry needling, electrical stimulation, heat, or a combination. 
• Decompression Treatment: The decompression table uses 7 sensors as it glides open and close to stretch and release the treatment area of your spine. This creates a gentle traction, drawing nutrients into your disc to allow it to heal.
• Manual Therapy: Including Active Release Technique® (ART®), advanced Graston Technique®, and any spinal mobilizations needed.   
• Therapeutic Exercises: This often includes Blood Flow Restriction Therapy (BFRT) in the clinic as well as exercises and stretches to do at home. 
• Holistic Health: We include recommendations for nutritional and hydration health for optimal recovery. Pinecone Physio has partnered with companies to bring our patients discounts on high quality supplements you can order and have shipped directly to your home.

After the trial session, Pinecone Physio offers three non-surgical spinal decompression therapy packages. 

4 weeks: 10 sessions (3 sessions per week for 2 weeks, 2 sessions per week for 2 weeks): Valued at $2,640; Package Discount: $2,400

8 weeks: 18 sessions ( 3 sessions per week for 2 weeks, 2 sessions per week for 6 weeks): Valued at $4,560; Package Discount: $3,800

12 weeks: 26 sessions (3 sessions per week for 2 weeks, 2 sessions per week for 10 weeks): Valued at $6,480; Package Discount: $5,200

Each package includes functional dry needling, manual therapy, decompression therapy, blood flow restriction therapy (BFRT), therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation (E-Stim), nutritional recommendations to optimize recovery, and any spinal mobilizations needed. Additional therapies may also be added for optimal results. Expect each session to last 60 minutes.

Each package treatment schedule includes typical recommendations, but your Doctor of Physical Therapy will assess your plan of care and determine the frequency of sessions needed for your unique recovery. Any amount paid towards an initial examination will be credited towards your decompression package if it is decided this is the best treatment for your plan of care. After your initial examination and your trial, we will confirm with you how much your package will cost and will collect the cost of the full package from you prior to scheduling.  Pinecone Physio will provide you with a “superbill” receipt you can use to submit to your insurance company upon request. Pending your particular insurance coverage, your insurance company may reimburse you directly for services. To be perfectly clear, every insurance company’s reimbursement rates are different and many do not reimburse for functional dry needling and non-surgical spinal decompression therapy, but they may reimburse for a portion of other treatments included in each package.
